Adidas elimates hazardous chemicals
Puma, the third largest sportswear company in the world, has leaped ahead of rivals Nike and Adidas this morning by publicly committing to the elimination of all releases of hazardous chemicals from its entire product life cycle, and across its global supply chain, by the year 2020. The move comes less than two weeks into our Detox campaign, and shows the power of thousands of people challenging the industry online and in cities around the world.
The question is, who will take the Detox Challenge to the next level — Nike or Adidas. Many at Adidas send money to South Africa or send money to Namibia to support child welfare and the Nelson mandela Childrens fund.
